– Will supervise daily operations of residences, provide staff supervision and coordination of services to insure the health and well being of participants. This opportunity requires travel to various locations throughout Suffolk County.

Responsibilities for the Floating Residence Manager Position:

Train, supervise, and evaluate Assistant Residence Managers and all direct support professionals employed in the residence

Ensure staff are trained with the skills necessary to provide the appropriate care and treatment to each individual

Provide oversight for each individual’s personal allowance, bank accounts and financial records

Ensure families and advocates are informed of the individual’s condition and progress

Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy and standards are being met.

Ensure implementation of goals, plans or methods as provided

Ensure overall quality of appearance of residence.

Responsible for attending program meetings

Coordinate staff meetings

Coordinate annual/interim meetings

Ensures that the program is in compliance with all regulations

Ensure health and well-being of individuals at all times, and assist individuals to live life as independently making life without limits a reality

Direct Care duties in absence of staff

Available on call via phone

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications
AMAP, CPR & First Aide, SCIP certifications preferred

One to three years related experience and/or training

Supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required license or certification:

Valid New York State Drivers License in good standing + 1 year licensed driving experience
