CEC Healthcare is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to support leadership of our Flex Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team serving adults with serious mental illness throughout Nassau County.
This role combines clinical supervision, community-based care, and multidisciplinary collaboration to help individuals achieve recovery and stability.

Job Responsibilities
The Flex ACT Assistant Team Leader works closely with the Team Leader to support daily operations and clinical services for a mobile ACT team.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist with daily team operations and care coordination
• Provide clinical supervision and support to multidisciplinary staff
• Conduct field-based visits with staff and program participants
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Deliver direct behavioral health services to recipients
• Support staff in implementing Individual Action Plans (IAPs)
• Assist with training in life skills development, community integration, and recovery skills
• Coordinate communication with families, providers, and community resources
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Assist with program initiatives and special projects

Required Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
• Active NYS License: LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC
• Minimum 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to travel throughout Nassau County for community-based visits
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Experience
• Experience in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), mobile treatment, or community mental health programs
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Work Environment & Schedule
• Full-time position based in Glen Cove, NY
• Community-based/mobile role serving clients across Nassau County
• Combination of field visits, team collaboration, and documentation
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary ACT team
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage
