Mercy Haven, Inc. – Everyone Deserves a Place to Call Home
Tonight, more than 3,500 Long Islanders—including nearly 1,500 children—will have nowhere to sleep. Many are living with mental illness, are disabled veterans, have multiple diagnoses, or are survivors of domestic violence.
They aspire to rebuild their lives, find jobs, and become part of a community, but they often don’t know where to start.
Since 1985, Mercy Haven has provided temporary and permanent housing and essential services to individuals in crisis. Each year, we support over 300 adults and children, working to break the cycle of homelessness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness on Long Island.
